I’m a gorgeous gentle Golden Chinchilla Persian called Barney. Two and a half years young and neutered.  I’m a sweet little kitty if I do say so myself. I’m rather timid though so would benefit from a quiet home with no young children.

I’ve just come from a home with other cats which was stressful. So I’d really like my new home to have no other pets. Just a nice serene human or maybe two. A cosy warm spot to snooze in, good quality food in my tummy and cuddles and strokes on-demand when I fancy.

Patience is a virtue. You’ll need to give me time to settle in at my own pace as I learn to trust you. I will likely hide when I hear a knock at the door or strangers come inside. But as long as you and me build a strong bond then that’s all that matters.

My fur is ever so very soft and silky. It will need a bit of care to make sure it stays in tip-top condition and tat-free. Tats left unchecked can cause painful tears in delicate skin you know. Later in life us Persians can suffer with breathing difficulties. That’s a long way off but it’s always better to know these things and do your research about the breed.
