Hilde
Little Hilde arrived in rescue as a bit of an emergency with her big brother Solly.  We're not quite sure what the situation was but it was one of those awful stories where they "have to be gone by tonight".  We think Hilde might have been part of a bigger litter and was the little black one that was left after others had been sold.  Solly may be her father or could be a brother from an older litter, or maybe he's no biological relation, but he's clearly been looking out for her and taking care of her and we're determined that they will be able to go together to a new home.

UPDATE 2 AUGUST:  This beautiful young lady is now reserved for adoption along with her big brother Solly

Hilde is a little shy when meeting new people but soon warms up if there are games to play.  Once she's tired she likes a lap to sit on.

Like Solly, she's been neutered and is fully vaccinated.   UNLIKE Solly, she hasn't been neutered as she's not yet old enough.  It's a requirement of adoption that she be neutered by the time she's 6 months old in September.  She'll need to stay securely indoors until she's neutered.

They should be happy in any home that will give them a little time to settle and feel safe after all they've been through.

All our adoptions come with 5 weeks free insurance through Agria.

We always homecheck prior to adoption, and ask a minimum donation of £80 for a kitten who is not yet neutered.. There’s more about our adoption process here: http://www.8livescatrescue.org/adoption-process.html and there's info about how we've adapted the process in light of Covid here: https://8livescatrescue.com/2020/11/21/adapting-and-adopting/

You’ll find some more photos and stories about our cats on our blog: https://8livescatrescue.wordpress.com/ and facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/8Lives/

Just to be clear - we're looking for a home for Solly and Hilde to go to together.  They have separate adverts simply because of the way the advert template is set up by CatChat.

Please note that although we are listed on Cat Chat in both South Yorkshire and Derbyshire, we only rehome in Sheffield and just over the border into Derbyshire.

If you think yours might be the purrfect home for them please contact us at [email protected]
