Obi - Reserved
Message from Obi fosterer: Being a relatively new fosterer, it has been rewarding to see Obi start to trust me over the 10 weeks I have had him. He is used to a mainly outdoor large territory and didn't cope well when he arrived in my cat pen.

He has transformed from a cat who was frozen to the spot and giving clear defence signals, to one who readily approaches me (for his expected treats!), gets pleasure from being stroked, allows me to watch him eat and use the tray, and he has let me pick him up. None of these things I could have imagined when he first came to me!

He needs a patient owner as he takes time to trust. He loves his food and treats! He can get excitable when he thinks he is getting a treat and can swipe with a claw to catch it, so there are ways I approach with a treat to minimise this.

I see him on his high shelf looking into my garden and dreaming of the day he can be out roaming again, living his best life
