Storm and Mario are not related but are best friends. Storm is a 2 year female cat who previously lived in a shop basement where she was kept to catch mice, Storm came to us with a young litter of kittens who grew up in one of our foster homes and were domesticated and friendly so were rehomed. Storm is very nervous / semi-feral though. Mario was a young stray (approx 18 months old) from a feral colony that we neutered and returned who were living behind shops, however Mario came to us with a badly deformed back leg which turned out to be an old fracture, nothing could be done to repair the leg so it had to be amputated.
We had tried to bond Storm with another pair of young semi-ferals who she didn't take to but when we put her with Mario they immediately bonded and are usually to be found curled up tightly together.
They would suit an outdoor home such as at a stables, small holiding, farm, or as garden cats. They will require dry shelter such as a garden shed, outbuilding, hay barn or tack room and daily food. WE will be seeking a very safe location for these two because of Mario only having three legs - so no busy roads.
We can rehome feral and semi-feral cats to homes in Sussex, Kent, parts of Surrey and to suitable homes within London. We initially loan a purpose built relocation pen to keep the cats in for 4 weeks to settle them in, deliver the cats to you and set them up in the holiding cage and provide life long support and back up should it be required e.g with health care.
