Butter wouldn’t melt… isn’t she absolutely gorgeous! One of our vets contacted us asking if we’d help Zelda.. Her owner brought her in to be put to sleep which they weren’t comfortable with doing.

Feedback from her carer:
"Zelda is a very beautiful girl. She is affectionate but on her terms and will let you know when she has had enough. She needs a cat and child free home. She is fine if you read her body language. She is very inquisitive and is interested in what’s going on. So far she’s loving playing with Catnip toys. She will blossom with the right, understanding owners."

History and feedback from the vet:
Zelda was rehomed to an elderly couple after the first home, a younger couple with a baby and another cat, after they didn’t think she was the right fit and an incident with another cat landing on her which made her more scared.
The elderly couple had Zelda three weeks before this decision to PTS. The elderly couple’s reasons were that she’d scratched them.

Progress:
Zelda has come out of her shell in the past week, is very friendly, starting to play with toys and likes to explore the practice when let out of the kennels. She also likes to have a fuss and loves rolling around on the floor and will even meow at you but does have a rather definitive line of tolerance and doesn’t like to be pushed past that line.

We have had Zelda vaccinated,  chipped and health checked.  She was already neutered.  She is looking for a home where she can come and go as she pleases, an active playful home and not with anyone elderly.
