Jude
My name is Jude and I am a SPECIAL CAT LOOKING FOR A VERY SPECIAL OWNER. I was rescued when my owner had been in a care home for nine months and I had been left on my own. No one really checked I was ok and sadly I had gone blind and had a painful ear infection. But fortunately I was rescued and  taken to a kind vet immediately for help. (They also spotted I was a boy as my owner called me Judy, although I didn’t care!) Anyway, it took me a little while to feel my way around my new room, I was soon getting up on the chair to find a cosy lap. Oh how I had missed this! My fosterer made sure I could find my tray and my things were kept in the same place. My favourite thing in the world is lots of fuss, a brush, but especially a lap and I’m not joking when I say, I will stay there with you for hours given half a chance, purring away! My nice vet said there was a growth in my ear and something called “cancer”. My fosterer was upset, but I pushed my little head into her hands to tell her it would all be ok. She set about fundraising and with the kindness of strangers, the money was raised so I could be helped! I did tell her it would all be ok didn’t I? My fosterer was crying tears of joy when the clever vet told her this cancer thing had all gone! As you can see I’m doing just great! Although, I still can’t hear so much us cats are SO clever, with our amazing sense of smell and whiskers we can certainly feel our way around and learn to remember where our things are too. I don’t mind being indoors at all, in fact I feel safer with you. Actually, one of my favourite games is finding Dreamies, I’m really good at this one! I’m now dreaming of a loving home of my very own again, with a kind hearted and understanding owner, who will love and support me. I would love my owner to be around for lots of love and lap snoozing time too. I am so happy now, I just hope that special someone is out there who would give a loving blind and nearly deaf cat like me a second chance.
