Ronnie (Veronica)

Ronnie is one amazing lady. She’s been through so much in the last year, but she’s a warrior and has come out stronger and with a lot of fans!

On a freezing cold night in December 2022, she climbed into the warm engine bay of a removals truck and got stuck. She was rescued and taken to the vets where they found a lot of missing fur, several rotten teeth and ears absolutely full of polyps. The lovely team fell in love with her, and over two months nursed her back to health and removed her rotten teeth.

Once recovered, Ronnie came to us to be homed but we wanted to give her the very best quality of life. Our amazing vet Rosie carried out two major operations to remove the awful ear polyps (and ear canals). Ronnie was an A* patient and the awesome team at Harrison’s are all now part of the Ronnie fan club.

Ronnie has since been signed off and is in need of a comfy lap to retire to. She loves cuddles, sleeping in sunny spots, batting toys around hard floors and food, lots of it.

Unsurprisingly, Ronnie’s hearing isn’t the best, although she can still hear thanks to vet Rosie’s super skills, so she would be best (and safest) as a house cat, maybe with her own catio or cat proofed garden.

Ronnie is fine with other cats and not fazed at all by children. We haven’t tested her with dogs.

Are you able to offer this sweet, affectionate lady the forever home she truly deserves?
