Ben
Unlike his hooligan brother Evan, Ben prefers the philosophical approach to life after an exhausting game of zoomies with his siblings. Truth is, he's a kitten so the madness comes built-in but he's definitely quieter (as in car engines are quieter than lorry engines) than the other three, and he's also the smallest. Ben was born late in the evening of May 9th to Avril, his mother and two of the others taken from a farm in April  having been heavily pregnant when caught. Despite never having been handled the adult cats taken from the farm, although shy, are not in the least bit aggressive and the kittens born into our care have inherited that good nature with the added bonus of good nurture. Ben and his siblings have just had their first set of vaccinations and these will be completed on or just after August 8th, at which time they'll also be microchipped and then be ready to go on to their new families. It would be perfect if we could home the kittens in pairs but a home where there's already a laid back cat who might even join in the madness could be fine too. A home which includes children at least five years old should be just fine for Ben and a resident cat-friendly dog might also make a welcome playmate. All potential homes are visited to help us ensure a good 'match' of cat/kitten and family so that it works well. We want our wee rescues to have homes for life after all! A home that would allow Ben access to a safe outdoor area would be lovely too.
