Thomas

Thomas loves to be outside! He would be best suited to a home on a farm or livery yard (with someone living on-site) but with access to the home when he wants it.

Adorable, friendly 3-year old Thomas is ready for his next adventure.

His fosterer has this to say about Thomas:-

Thomas loves his cheeks being stroked and will dish out headbumps all day long. He is a very affectionate boy. With such long legs, Thomas can appear be to a big cat but don't let that confuse you! Thomas is a big softy who loves fuss, attention and to play. Thomas loves to be around his people, even If they are busy he is content to sit out of the way as long as he can see them. If he can't be in same room as his people, he'll strike up conversation through the door.

Thomas loves to lay near his people and will often make sure he has at least one paw touching them. He hasn't yet shown signs of wanting to be a 'lap cat' but the weather has been very warm whilst he's been in foster. He loves sitting by the fan on the hottest days too. He could easily turn into a lap cat but, if not, he still snuggles up, which is just as lovely.

Thomas can be picked up but for how long is on his own terms!! He will let his slaves know when he has had enough. He is delightfully chatty and will chirrup to greet people, thank them for his dinner, fusses or playing with him. Any time Thomas is happy he will want to let everyone know.

In time, Thomas will learn to respond and react to commonly asked questions by his adopter, developing a different chirp (response) for each query type (i.e. do you want food; have you had a drink; have you had your biscuit; you like to play with.... ?)

It would be lovely if an adopter could start as they mean to go on, with key words as he picked them up very quickly in foster and does follow through with the related action.

Thomas is in foster in Bootle and has been neutered, chipped, parasite treated and is fully vaccinated. He can be homed with a friendly resident cat but isn’t used to dogs. As he does like to go for feet and ankles, he would be better homed with children aged over 10 years. We can also give an adopter advice on managing this, with the use of wand toys.

Thomas will need outdoor access once he is settled in his forever home.
