Rehoming Cats & Kittens: Suffolk
Wasabi
This is Wasabi, and like his name he is a bit spicy!
Wasabi came to us with his mum and 2 sisters, Wilfreda and Wilega from a local farm where they had been living. All 4 of them were quite feral and we knew that it would take a while before they would be ready for rehoming and we set to work trying to tame them.
It was agreed that Mum would be neutered and go back to the farm she came from, and we would rehome the kittens to homes when they were ready. We spent a lot of time with the kittens to try and socialise them and it was difficult because they really struggled with human interaction. The girls, Wilega in particular, started to trust us and would allow us to stroke her but Wasabi still wasn't very happy with us being around him.
Wilega and Wilfreda were rehomed, they were still both nervous and unsure, but we are happy to say that they are settling well and getting used to their surroundings. Now we are looking for a furever home for Wasabi.
He is still quite nervous and will hiss at us a lot, but we are confident that once he finds the right person or family to give him the time he needs, he will be the puurfect pet.
Do you think you could give Wasabi a home? If so, please get in touch.
