Sam
Sam was a long-term stray who had been living rough for years, getting fed by local people. He came to the rescue with huge clumps of matted fur, which needed to be shaved off, and the vet also discovered that he only has four teeth left. As a wandering tom, we also had him tested for FIV/FeLV and luckily he's negative for both. Sam is a friendly and confident lad who will cry for attention, but he does get grumpy if he's restrained/manhandled too much - living on the streets, he's had to learn to stick up for himself. He would need to be the only pet in his new home. We've guessed his age at 11, but he could be older, so he's looking for a comfortable retirement home.
