Bill and Tracy

Bill (tabby) and Tracy (tabby & white) are a very bonded pair of cats that need a very special home.  When they first arrived at the shelter after living stray for a long time, they were terrified.  They spent 6 months in a foster home and came a long way and are now back at the shelter.  They will be very scared at first and need an experienced and patient home that will give them time to slowly build trust.

Bill is a shy but playful boy. Although he might be a little jumpy around people, once you get him playing with his favourite rainbow rope toy you will see him instantly relax! When Bill gets scared he will run away and hide but will never get aggressive.  Bill loves cuddling up with Tracy for naps, and we suspect that when he eventually allows humans to pat him he will actually really enjoy the attention. Bill needs someone patient who lets him go at his own pace.

Tracy is a gorgeous gentle kitty who needs a patient and loving owner. She is still a little skittish, but even when scared she just freezes/flees and never scratches or bites. Tracey also loves to play and is partial to a ball of yarn. She loves birdwatching by the window.

They both have a condition called feline calicivirus and we will cover any treatment for that specific condition under our long-term foster scheme.  Further information about calicivirus can be found via this link https://icatcare.org/advice/feline-calicivirus-fcv-infection/

Both of these cats have a gentle disposition and just need a bit more time to come out of their shell. They are quiet cats and well litter trained- no accidents. They do not scratch furniture and they are not fussy eaters. In other words they are very low maintenance cats who are just a bit shy!
