Buster came to us as a stray, who we think was recently attacked by a dog, as he had two large scabs on his back from puncture wounds. Fortunately a kind person took him to the vets and made sure he was cared for, then brought him along to the rescue. He's wary of strangers, and doesn't like to be handled, but once he starts to relax around you he is a friendly cat. However, because he has a very upredictable side and can bite without provocation, we're not able to safely send him into a home environment.

We think he would be happiest as a farm/stable cat, who can receive care from people while enjoying his independence. Buster loves the outdoors, and would be thrilled with a countryside environment that he could explore at his leisure, earning his keep by chasing rats.

Buster strongly dislikes other cats, and could not be placed on a farm/stables that already has cats in residence.
