At 11 years old, handsome and gentle Shep is almost a senior 'kittizen'': as kitten season approaches, he is likely to be overlooked, which is so sad because he is a lovely friendly boy and really deserves to find his perfect new home as soon as possible. He could live with children aged 13 years or older, and he wants to be the only cat in his new home.

He has been diagnosed as being hyperthyroid (not at all unusual for older cats): this is rarely anything to be concerned about, and can be managed with daily medication and regular blood tests.  Our staff will be happy to discuss this further with you, and we are hoping that his perfect new home won't be put off by this very common, age-related condition.  Just look at his handsome face: this gentle boy is waiting eagerly for his new human(s) to claim him and whisk him off to his happy new home.
