Branston came to the rescue as an injured stray, who's been battered in fights with other unneutered tomcats. At first he was scared and withdrawn, but once he realised he was in a safe place, he brightened up and is now a chatty, affectionate boy who will follow staff around. It's clear how relieved he is to have left his old life behind. The age we've listed is a rough estimate, and he could be older or younger than eight. He was used to wandering outside, but since coming to the rescue has shown little interest in going back out, and enjoys lazing in the warm.
