Any known Behavioural Issues:
We lost our older Bengal last summer around the same time a ginger tomcat has started to hang around our house yowling a lot. We're not able to keep him away as he will come to both the front and back. It caused them both to start spraying a little bit in places but this has progressed to big puddles of wee. We've already tried suggestions from the vets / behaviourist & even google! Unfortunately, the problem isn't getting any better.
Dobby and Luna have both been into the vets to have urine extracted and tested. Bloods taken and bladder scans. The vets haven't found any medical reasons that could be causing the situation. Both the vets and the behaviourist think the ginger tomcat is the factor. Him hanging around from the time we lost Rupert seems to have caused this behaviour. It's really hard as they both don't seem stressed by anything, except the hoover! In fact, I've witnessed both at different times being in the room with us, playing and having a great time and then go and spray somewhere.
My family & I are heartbroken to say that it's got to the point where we are looking to rehome them for hygiene reasons as well as for my own health! I'm really struggling with the situation. Especially as I'm constantly on the children's backs to shut bedroom doors etc. before the cat’s rush in and wee on their beds.
We really didn't want it to get to this point and feel we've tried everything in our power to help the situation.
These sisters are best friends. They are always together and love nothing more than having a cuddle on a lap, especially with children. They have the sweetest temperaments and get on well with other cats. They've not had much contact with dogs. They are both very chatty girls, especially when they are having a drink or shower in the bath! If they're not out in the garden enjoying the sunshine or climbing something, they are curled up together next to somebody, nudging them as a reminder to not stop stroking. They are the loveliest girls who are always together so want to keep them together if possible.

They are currently based near Swindon

The first step is to find a cat that you think could be right for you - It’s important you read the cat’s profile all the way through so you can be sure you’ll be able to support their needs. If everything looks promising, get in touch, and arrange for you and your family to meet the cat. If possible, spend a few hours to getting to know them better.
Ask the owner as many questions as you can. Asking the owner lots of questions is great way to find the right pet and make sure you can give them everything they need, too. As soon as the cat is handed over to you, you become their legal owner. You can’t return them to their original home if you change your mind and The Bengal Cat Association isn’t a rescue service so we can’t take them into our care, either.
If you would like to chat to one of our team about a cat that interests you, but you need some advice before going ahead with the rehome please contact us ([email protected]) with your phone number and one of the team will ring you.
As such, you should only go through with the adoption if you’re 100% sure it’s right. If the owner agrees, you can ask to visit your potential new pet a couple of times before making a final decision or try video calling each other. Consider asking these questions before you visit the cat to help make sure you've covered the important considerations. Have I seen how the cat behaves around other cats (if applicable)? Have I double checked that the cat would suit my routine at home? Have I physically checked the cat over? Does s/he have any potential health issues that I need to ask about? Ask to see vet records. If I have children have, I seen how the cat interacts with children? Have my children met the cat? Do I have any doubts? If yes, DO NOT TAKE THE CAT HOME on this occasion and plan to visit again,
For most people, giving up a pet for adoption is heart-breaking. Please bear this in mind when you’re chatting to the owner.

Disclaimer:
Rehoming a rescue cat is a serious commitment please give your new cat a reasonable amount of time to settle to its new life. A cat can take 14 days, and sometimes several months to start to bonding with a new owner, sometimes it can be less time, other times longer.
Remember the Bengal Cat Association is a direct rehoming service, not a rescue organisation. We don’t have the facilities or the means to take cats into our care. So, ensure you as the re-homer ask many questions as you feel you need to before re-homing. However, we do offer a post-adoption support service so please contact us ([email protected]) immediately if you’re having any issues or you’ve got any questions, and we will do our best to help.
