Bonnie
Senior tabby, Bonnie, who is 16 years and 3 months’ old is hoping to find a lovely retirement home. Before coming into HFC care, she had been living stray in London. She had been fed by a member of the public who contacted us, concerned for her long-term welfare.
Bonnie has a microchip implanted. Our research highlighted that that this lovely, gentle girl had sadly had more than one previous home. We were able to contact one of her owners, who was helpfully able to provide us with some information about Bonnie. Sadly, not all her microchip information has been consistently updated and we have not been able to trace her most recent owner. This highlights that the potential of microchips to reunite much-loved lost pets with their owners is limited unless owners take responsibility to update their information on the database.
Bonnie is a confident girl and she has a very healthy appetite. She enjoys spending time outside and having a comfy lap to sit on! After just a short time in foster care, Bonnie jumps onto her Foster Carer’s lap and immediately settles down at every opportunity!
Bonnie has received a full vet check, test results have confirmed she is a healthy cat and she is now ready to meet potential adopters at her foster home in Cranleigh. However, she is deaf, which means she will often chat (meow) loudly, but briefly, just to ask for your attention. For her own safety, Bonnie is looking to find an adult home where she can enjoy being the only pet. She has already been neutered and has received her first vaccination whilst in our care.
If you would like to offer gentle Bonnie a happy retirement home with a comfy lap(!) and safe, outside space for her to enjoy, please complete our application form below and we will be in touch. Thank you.
