Lea is a lovely 12 month old ish old tortie and white (dilute calico) girl persian, who came into Strawberry with her mum, Joanna.

Both cats were severely matted, with torn skin from where the hair had pulled at their skin. Strawberry paid for them to be de-matted and given lion cuts which took 2 vet nurses two hours during sedation, so no stress - which was very expensive for our tiny group.

Lea adores humans and other cats, and will look gorgeous once her coat grows back.

She's been vet-checked, wormed, flea'd, vaccinated, microchipped and neutered, and will come with litter tray, towel or blanket attached to in foster, some of food on - we feed mainly dry food, can come with a carrier (charged at £19 for most, as most fosterers are running out of the few they had)

Adoption fee is going to be £450 - you pay that even though various cats adoption fee may not cover the vet fees/cost of foster/ petrol to collect, flea, worming, full vaccination for Lea and Joanna, Chipping her, claws clipped when dematted, spayed by us, given good quality food, litter tray, we had to supply carrier to collect.  as we have funded full demat/lion cut (this can be £200 we are told at some vets). We will have paid the costs to vet for her mum Joanna to be blood tested for fiv felv at vets (we are told some vets can charge up to £200 for this if sent away).  This was negative, so we have not tested Lea.

Adoption fees are critical for us to stay going, as we take so many older cats like Ava who had 13 months in our foster homes - we funded dental, skin issues, but her adoption fee as old was so low!!!  It didnt cover initial costs!
