Ruby was adopted from CATNES four years ago and enjoyed a happy life with outdoor access. Unfortunately, due to a change in circumstances, her owner had to relocate for family reasons. Her new home is in a busy upper flat with no safe outdoor access, and noisy barking dogs in the flat below have left Ruby feeling stressed and frustrated, leading to behavioural issues.

Her owner believes that in a quieter home with safe outdoor access, Ruby would return to being the happy, contented cat she once was. She has been thoroughly health-checked, and the vet has confirmed that her issues are purely stress-related.

Ruby is loving and affectionate but, like many cats, can be a bit unpredictable at times (we’ve all been there!). Because of this, she would be best suited to an adult-only home or one with older children, and she needs to be the only pet.
