Meet the wonderful Mr Tom, he is 17 years old but wow it's hard to believe he is actually that age as he most certainly doesnt look it. He has a completely clean bill of health from our vets, his bloods are all perfect, his teeth are good, he is a great weight (just under 4kg) and is fit as a fiddle. He is neutered and microchipped, flea and worm treated but in agreement with our vet we didn't feel vaccinations were appropriate at his age.

 

Tom has been living in a very elderly ladies garden under a shed for the last 2yrs, when we heard about him and another cat he was with we went out asap and we were shocked when we scanned him and found a chip (even more shocked at his age). Sadly despite extensive attempts to contact the person on his chip it seems they left the area quite a few years ago.

 

Tom is JUST THE MOST AMAZING BOY.  He is so sweet natured, so loving and sooooo happy to be back in the warm inside of a home. He really will make the most perfect companion for a mature person who wants a loving cat, please dont be put off by his age, he has years ahead of him yet.

 

Tom is loving his food, he has mainly just been fed dry food before coming into us which has helped his teeth I'm sure but he is also loving his wet food with us here and is partial to a Dreamy or two.

 

He can happily share his new home with other friendly cats, we dont know how he feels about dogs but could live with gentle older children too.

 

He has been spotless with the litter tray too and is just such an easy, content boy, I think you can probably tell we absolutely adore him (and so did our vet, he was purring so loud at the consult rolling around on the table for a fuss)

 

Tom will need a home with a nice safe garden WELL AWAY FROM ANY BUSY OR FAST ROADS where he can lie out in the sun safely, he won't go far. Home offers are subject to a homecheck and a suggested donation of £50
