Cramar Cat Rescue and Sanctuary
Rehoming Cats & Kittens: West Midlands
Daphne is a very special lady, a favourite with staff and volunteers at Cramar because she is so fussy and loves having cuddles.  Her story, however, is a sad one: her owners got a new puppy, and Daphne became very stressed by the  canine addition to the family.  Sadly for Daphne, the puppy stayed, and so this gracious old lady (we think she's about 15 years old) found herself at Cramar.

Sometimes, everything falls into place, and you realise that certain things are just meant to happen . . . Daphne's re-homing is one of those occasions.  She is now living a wonderful life, as companion to an older gentleman who came to Cramar looking to rehome a cat, for the first time ever, in his 80's!  These two - human and feline - were made for each other.  Daphne has a quiet, comfortable home, and a lovely garden to stroll in and enjoy the sunshine: her new person has a gentle, affectionate, undemanding and appreciative old lady cat to keep him company: stories like this are the ones that make cat rescue and rehoming all worthwhile.
