RSPCA - Leybourne Animal Centre
Rehoming Cats & Kittens: Kent (West)
Lucky came to us via another RSPCA Branch as a stray, since he has been at the Leybourne centre he has proved himself to be quite a character
He is a very friendly, playful boy and will seek human companionship, so we can only assume he once had a loving home; however he can be a very independent boy and gets easily frustrated when confined, therefore we feel an alternative lifestyle home will be a better option for him.
A rural landscape, a farm or a smallholding for a home where he has the freedom to go about as he pleases, without worry, but still has people around him should he want human company will be ideal but we can be very open to different circumstances.
Rural homes, including farms, stables or even a shed at the bottom of their garden, can make a good alternative for cats that have needs as it gives them the space they need to roam and exhibit their natural behaviour. It also gives them the choice and control over how they live their lives, how much they want to interact with people whilst providing a safe environment for them to live in.
Lucky hasnt shown any negative behaviour to the cats in the cattery therefore we feel in the right environment, plenty of space and a careful introduction he could live in the same area as female cats and a calm dog that is use to having contact with cats.
