Rehoming Cats & Kittens: South Ayrshire, North Ayrshire, Glasgow & East Ayrshire
Izzy was found hiding in some bushes at a supermarket when she’d be no more than seven weeks old. Despite extensive searches and the distribution of flyers no other kittens or a mother cat were found in the area so it looks like Izzy may have been dumped. She was so close to a very busy road when found that she’s lucky not to have been killed. At seven weeks old, she didn’t stand a chance of surviving alone.

When she first came into our care little Izzy would play quite roughly, quite probably as a result of having been handled roughly wherever she had once lived. She’s a gentle girl now, though, and really enjoying having the opportunity to play with Chrissy’s three kittens. They’re a couple of weeks younger than Izzy so she had great fun showing off all the things a ‘big’ girl could do that they were still struggling with. Like helping with the sweeping up….

I don’t think Izzy would settle happily as an indoor-only cat so access to an outdoor area once she’s settled would be ideal for her. She may well look quiet and docile in the photograph, but she’s full of nonsense and energy, just as a healthy kitten should be really. She’s still too young to be spayed but has now had all of her vaccinations and been chipped. It’s vitally important that any kittens we home do get neutered/spayed once they’re old enough so we ask adopters to confirm when this has been done.

Please contact us if you are interested in offering Izzy her forever home.
