HARRY

It's Harry! This handsome boy is 2 years old and a semi long haired lovely boy - he's a cuddly adorable boy.

As Harry has been a stray and was not neutered and probably got into a few fights - he is FIV positive but we are POSITIVE about finding him the right home and looking past the misconceptions about FIV cats.

FIV cannot be passed to other pets or humans and is only passed from cat to cat by aggressive fighting, usually due to lack of neutering – this is not a ‘death sentence’ for Harry – it just means we are adjusting the kind of home he may go to and there is still the perfect home out there. Most FIV cats live long and healthy lives.

The best home for Harry would be one with a catio so he still has access to fresh air but means he cannot roam free and come into contact with other cats because of the FIV. We will also consider spacious indoor homes. But we really would like to love a catio for him! He also LOVES attention so would like to be the only kitty!

If you’d like to read more about FIV, Cat Chat have very useful information and busts a few ‘myths’ –https://www.catchat.org/index.php/fiv

One of our volunteers Lisa, also has FIV cats of her own so would be happy to have a chat and any questions you may have about FIV cats.

He is neutered and will be microchipped, vaccinated and will be and flea worm treated when he is adopted.

If you would like to adopt him please send us a PM on Facebook, email us or call us and we will send you an application form
