Cats Guidance Rescue
Rehoming Cats & Kittens: Lancashire

We have spent the last 12mths trying to cure his calicivirus, it’s all in his mouth.

We have had no choice but to take every tooth out of his mouth apart from his bottom two canine teeth.

We have given him all the antibiotics we can give, on top of interferon and steroids.
He’s had the lot, but unfortunately he’s been left that long with the virus prior coming into rescue we just can’t cure him.
What we have done is reach a point where he’s happy, his mouth is not sore or smelly, and he eats without pain relief or on a bad day he is given pain relief.

So that’s how he stays - we were hoping that one day we could home him as a normal cat, but we know that won’t be possible.

William would be looking for a special family for his forever home, someone who can keep an eye on him and take him to the vets as and when he needs.

William is the “ideal cat” around 3-4yrs old a lovely temperament, gets on well with other cats, sleeps at your side at night.
He’s great company, a loving soul, loves children.

If you would like to adopt William please private message in your e-mail address and we will send out an application form.
