Cramar Cat Rescue and Sanctuary
Rehoming Cats & Kittens: West Midlands
*** PLEASE READ: Cramar is cautiously re-opening for rehoming, with new procedures in place.  Viewing is now by appointment ONLY: please phone the rescue on 0121-445 1840, leave a message on option 3 with your name and contact details: a member of staff will contact you to arrange a day and time for you to visit to view our lovely felines.  House checks will continue, but done slightly differently - initially the house check form will be worked through via telephone call, then you will be visited at home by one of our house checkers who will use PPE and maintain appropriate social distances.  Please note: our cats featured here are mainly our long stay/harder to home cats: we have lots of other cats in rescue, including kittens: all of them eager to meet you.***

This handsome boy with a famous name is not loving his time in rescue.  We know that he's been an owned cat before - so he has lived in a home and been around people, but he's not happy being in a pen and isn't showing us the charming personality we are sure is hiding beneath his stressed and anxious exterior.
He will require a patient and understanding new home - one where he can take as much time as he needs to settle in (this could be weeks or months).  Based on how stressed he is in rescue, he would probably be better in a home with no young children.  His new people will need to be very understanding of how cats behave when they are stressed and nervous, but we have rehomed anxious and angry cats before, and the transformation once they are settled in their new home is remarkable.  If you're interested in giving this handsome boy a chance to find happiness, please speak to our knowledgeable staff who will be able to advise on the best techniques for helping him to settle in a new environment.
