Poppy came to us heavily pregnant and she came from death row. She was supposed to be put down (including termination of advanced pregnancy) as classified “feral” and “not rehomable” by one of the charities in NW London.
Poppy is enjoying the company of her kitten called Bean who is also a calm cat and we believe that they will be very happy if rehomed together.
Mums are always overlooked when it comes to adoption, particularly as everyone wants a kitten but please remember that the cat mums once were kittens too, and they also deserve and want a loving home they can call their own.
Please note that we don’t rehome cats to high floors and if indoor only on lower floors we will request the flat to be fully cat proofed. We expect the cat parents to have pet insurance in place as well as secure and big cat carriers as opposed to small meshy backpacks from which cats can easily escape.
We have quite strict rehoming rules due to people returning cats after adoption for reasons such as a newborn baby or “puppy doesn’t get along with the cat” or “my new partner doesn’t like cats” or “we work from home and the cat wants constant attention” so please don’t get offended or discouraged if your offer won’t get accepted.
Thank you for understanding.
