Tigger
Tigger was a street cat for many years but was befriended by a lady who was able to build his trust and make sure he had food and water. We were asked to help find him a permanent home where he would be safe and continue to have someone watching out for him. Unfortunately, he's not enjoyed being confined and initially was very withdrawn. He's gradually starting to come out into the open area of his pen more to watch the daily garden activity but is still a long way off from accepting the closeness of his fosterer. In order to meet Tigger's needs, we are looking for a rural home where he will have lots of safe access to the outside but is able to come and go as he pleases. His new home should have an outbuilding or two where a cat den can be made as his place of safety. Whilst in our care, Tigger had to have quite a few teeth removed so he will not be a mouser and will need to be supplied with food and water as normal. We cannot guarantee that Tigger will ever be happy in the company of humans, but his previous experience before coming into our care suggests that he will trust but it may take quite a while to build that trust. Patience, love, and understanding are going to be what Tigger needs.

Tigger has made great progress in recent weeks but it is very slow. He does give the occasional hiss and swipe but is now giving head bumps to his fosterer. An experienced, patient owner would be perfect for him.
