Maria
Greetings! My name is Maria and I arrived here at Filey Cat Rescue 20th May 2022. A member of the public alerted Filey Cat Rescue that they had found my kittens and I underneath their shed. We had been there for a little while and unfortunately, I was in rather a bad way.

The area which I was living in was overgrown with brambles which I have caught myself on. The humans were able to catch me safely using one of their cat traps but were unable to get to my kittens - whom in the end had to be dug out of the ground!

Throughout this process, Filey Cat Rescue received incredibly support in order to bring us to safety and without their help I wouldn’t be safe. I’ve been lucky enough to see my two male kittens go off to their forever home whilst I've been here at Little Heroes Sanctuary.

It is clear that they will be spoiled rotten! They are now in the company of a very special 3 year old female who I know will look after them beautifully!

I've now finished recuperating at Filey Cat Rescue. I'm looking for a home with an outdoors setting. I am a social cat with others of my own kind, but I'm really not keen on humans. I've had a few months to get used to the humans here at Filey Cat Rescue and we've decided, that I need a loving home that is happy to let me be an independent cat on a farm, small holding or similar.
