Zebbie is an affectionate cat and, though often initially wary of new people, she doesn’t take long to get comfortable and ask for attention. Her favourite occupation is to spend time being stroked on your lap, or even better to be groomed with a brush or comb. On a hot day she loves to stretch outside in the sun. On rare occasions she will watch tv with you, especially animal programmes, when she's been known to try to interact with the action on the screen.

Zebbie has always had access to the outside but has never ventured much further than next door’s garden. Now she’s an older cat she spends most of her time indoors, though she still goes outside, sometimes just for a few minutes, and other times for the whole afternoon! But as she goes out a lot less than when she was younger, she might be fine without access to the outdoors. She'd be very happy with a window with a view for her to watch the world go by.

In her younger years there were young children in the house and she loved being centre of attention and being petted by them. More recently a year old baby has visited a few times and Zebbie’s been fine with being stroked and played with by her, so I think she’ll be fine with young children. Her sister recently passed away, and though they weren’t best friends they managed ok, so she may be ok with other cats.
