Ruby & Ollie

Ruby & Oliie are a beautiful bonded pair of cats. Who are looking for a new home together due to sad circumstances

Ruby is a typical female cat, she loves to sleep, loves to play with toys, and most of all loves her food, she will not let you miss dinner time. Ruby is quite an affectionate cat, although she can be nervous with strangers but nothing a treat won’t fix! Ruby is more loving towards men than females, she is my little shadow who follows me everywhere and sleeps under the covers with me. She will choose her favourite person in the household, and bond to that one person, but she still loves everyone else that she lives with, and still loves to have affection off people, (she does not like her belly being stroked) but loves her face head and back being stroked. She also loves to go outdoors, she is abit more of a wanderer than Ollie, she does go out the front way of the house, but has never gone further down than a couple of houses (she visits my elderly neighbour). Ruby is abit more reserved when it comes to being introduced to new animals, but she does eventually get used to them, she just needs time. Ruby was given to me as a kitten as a friend for Ollie who I was given first. She was the spitting image of the kitten I had previously who passed away because of ill health, Ruby is my absolute heart, it’s going to be upsetting for both of us when she leaves, but all I ask is that she is rehomed with Ollie so they have something familiar with them, they are too inseparable to rehome separately.

Ollie is a amazing cat, definitely one of a kind, we like to describe him as a human in a cats body. When he was a kitten he looked like a kangaroo because his legs were too long for his body, he has happily walked on a harness and lead around the garden but he does not like the streets or cars. He was diagnosed with a texture specific eating disorder when he was younger, this means he does not like certain textures of food, he does not like wet food, or wet treats like lickelicks, but he loves his dry food, dreamies and meaty sticks! He also loves his water bowl. He loves to have belly rubs when he is tired, this helps him fall to sleep faster. He also loves to go outside, he has never wandered far, he only ever goes two doors down and then back, he will not go out the front, he likes to be in back gardens and has never wandered over the front gate. He likes to shout at you randomly, which is quite hilarious as he has quite a high pitched meow. Ollie was given to me 2 years ago after the tragic loss of my first kitten who had extreme health issues, Ollie helped me through deep depression, which is what’s making it harder for me to rehome, He was there for me so I should be there for him, but I just can’t provide what he and Ruby need, as I will be homeless soon, all I ask is that Ollie and Ruby are homed together, they are inseparable.

A little bit about Ollie’s health.
Ollie has a flea allergy, we recently dealt with fleas (all have gone now) so he is currently looking abit scruffy from the over grooming that he was doing due to the allergic reaction to the fleas, he has also always been slightly underweight, he doesn’t like to eat set meals he prefers to “graze” he has been to the vet for this when he was younger, they weren’t concerned and said it’s just part of his quirky personality!
