Monkey

About me…

Hi, my name is Monkey, and yes I am cheeky! I came to the sanctuary with my friend Toady. We were found separately hanging around as strays around 18 months ago and a kind lady took us in. The lady had lots of other cats that she had taken in from the streets and although she had looked after us for a while, it was a lot for her to look after all of us! So, we came here to the sanctuary to find new homes of our very own.

I am a very loving, friendly boy who really likes attention and fuss from humans. I enjoy cuddles and sitting on laps, and also like to be involved in everything the humans are doing- I’m a bit nosey!

Home I am looking for…

I am looking for a loving home to finally call my own. I can live with children 10+ as long as they are used to cats and will give me time to settle in, I can be a little wary of new people and places so will need a bit of time and patience whilst I get used to you all.

I would be best as the only cat in the home as I am used to being around lots of cats but much prefer my own company and having the humans (and the food) to myself. I could possibly live with a calm dog who has lived with cats before.

I will need access to outdoors in a safe environment near no busy roads or railway lines, but will need to stay entirely indoors for at least 8 weeks while I settle in.
