POPPY
Poppy is a fabulous dainty litte cat that came into the sanctuary as part of a relocation of a garden colony of cats. Poppy is highly socialised and very affectionate, enjoying attention and strokes whilst also possessing a curious and playful spirit.

We observed this garden colony for quite some time before we began the relocation and Poppy happily spent time indoors and outdoors at the Feeders home often socailising with other cats then going off to explore before coming home to sleep in the Feeders house overnight.

Poppy has proved very easy in every way and is neutered, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, up to date with worm and flea treatment. Tested NEGATIVE for FIV/FeLV.

Poppy can live with other cats but is not dog tested although it's possible she could live with a quiet breed of dog after a slow introduction. Poppy could be re-homed alone or alongside of one of the other cats we have from the same colony. We are looking for a quiet rural home for Poppy as this is all she's known, children in the household should be 8+ and cat savvy but she'd also be super company for a retired couple. Poppy would like safe outdoor access but we could consider an indoor only home for her dependent on the family and circumstances.

Please note before considering applying to adopt Poppy we will not re-home into towns our built up residential areas. Poppy is a country cat and this is all she has ever known, she is not road savvy and would not thrive in a populated human environment.
