Walter came into Rescue on 14 April 2024 with his friend Aura, through no fault of their own.

He is a very loving and friendly 4yr old male British Blue Shorthair, DOB 11 Feb 2020. He’s always lived with Aura and they enjoy spending time together so ideally they are looking for a forever home together. They have always been indoor cats and are happy indoors so they will need space to run around and play or just chill out.

Walter loves having lots of fuss but he’s not really a lap cat, unlike his friend Aura who loves sitting on laps. He loves playing with feathers on a stick and when he’s tired himself out will find a sunny place to chill out and have a snooze.

He has lived with a dog in his previous home so will be fine with a cat friendly dog. He has tried to make friends with the resident cat in his foster home but the resident cat isn’t too friendly, however, Walter will be fine with other calm, confident cats. He’ll also be fine with cat savvy children, best if around 5+ years old.

Walter does have a bit of a “lazy” left eye which has been vet checked, it doesn’t cause him a problem and no treatment is required. He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worm treatment and on adoption will come with 5 weeks free pet insurance from Agria.
