Rehoming Cats & Kittens: Warwickshire
Annie
Annie is a strikingly beautiful three-year-old tabby. She is sassy, vocal, clever, determined and
independent. Annie came into our care from a multi-cat household, having never really known a life
without being pregnant or raising kittens. As such, we feel she still has some evolving to do before
she settles into life as a 'normal' domestic cat. Please, therefore, bear in mind that this pen portrait
describes Annie as she is now, and that we feel she has plenty of potential to evolve and grow with
careful, patient and ideally cat-experienced owners.
Annie is not aggressive, but dislikes new environments or situations, where she may hide, growl or
hiss. She is currently quite food-focused, and we feel this is due to having to compete with many
other cats for food in her previous home. Annie does not trust or bond with humans easily, but this
makes it all the more rewarding when she does choose her favourite human/s. She has a lovely
bond with her fosterer and will often seek reassurance, head rubs and chin scratches, responding
to them with a soft purr and chirp. She has recently started to play more too, and loves batting
around a scrunched-up piece of paper or crinkly cat toy. She is not yet a lap cat, but there is always
hope!
Annie needs stimulation and challenge, so while she settles in her new home, will need toys and
interaction. She will definitely need access to a safe garden space well away from busy roads so
that she can satisfy her need for adventure, once she has settled in her new home. She will need a
home without other pets, and children over the age of 12.
