Timmy
9 & ½ -year-old Timmy is an outdoor, diabetic, male cat who came into care of the branch through no fault of his own.

He’s looking for an adult family, that has a home which has direct back/ front door access to a safe outdoor area and there must be no other pets in the home.

A family that will take it in their stride and learn how to give him his daily insulin jags twice a day at 9am & 9pm is ideal for this wee one. If this is something you have never experienced, Cats Protection will support you and show you how to administer. Timmy will also need to go to the vets for regular blood tests so access to one of the Cats Protection vets and a car is a must (for more information on diabetes in cats please click on the attached link: http://bit.ly/1cqfUtw). With regards to Timmy’s diabetes, Cats Protection will cover the cost of his vet treatment is relation to the diabetes.

Overall, Timmy is a very handsome boy who would love a new home with a forever family to love and care for him. He has responded well to regular insulin and is fine with his injections as long as he has something tasty to eat. He is a very affectionate vocal boy who has a funny wee miaow.

Timmy is “not” a suitable cat for a first time cat family and if you would like to know more or enquire about adopting then please fill in the WEB form that is on his WEB page which can be viewed on the following link: https://bit.ly/3nb1A18
*** Please note that if you are in leased/ rented accommodation we require written proof from your landlord which confirms that pets are allowed and would advise that you have this prior to applying to adopt ***
