George
George is a lovely Bengal cross.  He has the iciest blue eyes and loves to play.   We collected him from our local vet, he had a cat bite but the owners refused to pay for treatment.  The cat bite left him with a disability to his leg.  It affected the tendons in such a way that the leg turned inwards.  It was a decision of whether to amputate the leg or see if it gets better.   Since being with us, his leg is now much better, not turning in anymore, it has left him walking straight but with a limp.  He is in no pain whatsoever, he can still jump up onto shelves, but he would have to remain as a house cat.  If he was left outside he would not be quick enough to run away if a dog or another cat chased him. His leg has improved so much, he could eventually get his strength back in it to walk normally again but it will take time. If you have a cat proof garden where he could not get out that would be fine or a catio.

For his own safety he would have to remain as a house cat.  He is friendly, plays with the other cats and needs a secure home. you would have to be careful of opening doors or windows.  Although he has a slight disability he is still quick, but not quick enough to get himself out of trouble.
