Owen ** Reserved**
This is Owen and as at 26th January he is approximately 7 months of age.
He came into care with his siblings and at first was very wary of humans as he hadn’t had much contact with them.  Whilst Owen’s confidence is slowly growing, he is still shy around people he doesn’t know and will hide away when someone new comes to visit.  We are, therefore, looking for a special home that will see past his shyness and allow him the time and space to grow in confidence at his own pace.  This may take some time but we are sure when he is settled into a forever home his confidence will continue to grow and you will eventually be rewarded with a loyal and loving companion.
Owen loves being stroked and will stretch up for his foster mom to stroke him all down his body.  He also loves lying on his foster mom’s legs and he can be picked up but only in short bursts.

Owen loves to play and his favourite toys are ones with feathers on and a laser pen which he chases all around his foster pen.

He has a healthy appetite and eats both wet and dry food and loves cooked chicken and of course a few Dreamies.

His ideal home is adult only or one where the children are at least aged 10 plus and know how to behave around shy animals.  A boisterous household or one where young children visit regularly definitely wouldn’t be for him.  Owen also needs to go to a home where he isn’t left for long periods of time on his own.  We feel he could go to a forever home with one of his siblings or possibly to a home that already has an existing chilled young cat for him to play with.  We don’t think a house with a dog would suit him.

Please arrange to come and meet Owen because when you do we know you will fall in love with him.
