Rehoming Cats & Kittens: West Midlands
Bruce - Direct Rehome
Bruce is estimated to between 4-5 years of age and he has been living as a stray since July.  Attempts to find owner have proved unsuccessful so he has been neutered and is now looking for a home under our Direct Rehoming Scheme.
As you can see from his photo he is a handsome tuxedo cat who isn’t at all camera shy (how can anyone resist that cute face!).  He was obviously someone’s much loved pet at some stage as he is a very friendly chap who comes to you when called.
Bruce has a very healthy appetite and enjoys both wet and dry food.
He could probably be homed with another laid back cat and ideally his forever home will be adult only or one where the children are aged 10 plus.  A boisterous household or one where young children visit regularly definitely wouldn’t be for him.  Although he will need to be kept indoors when he is first rehomed we would like his forever home to have a garden when he can venture outside as he likes exploring the great outdoors.
To help people find new homes for cats they are unable to keep, we try to help via our DHS. This consists of advertising the cat on our website with as much info that we are aware of with a view to putting the prospective adopter in touch with the current carer. Each prospective adopter still has a home visit even though the cat is not the care of Cats Protection.
All known info regarding any cat on our DHS will be given to the prospective adopter at the time of the home visit. We make no claim to have accurate knowledge of the cat, its health, vaccination status, or whether it is neutered, microchipped etc. All rehomings are subject to a successful home visit. If you live in rented/leasehold property we require written consent to have a cat(s) from the landlord, management company or freeholder (whichever applies) to be obtained before a home visit can be undertaken.
