Cats Protection - Wolverhampton
Rehoming Cats & Kittens: West Midlands
Lily is between 9/10 years of age and is looking for a home under our direct rehoming scheme.

She was rehomed and escaped from her new home in May 2018. She was found in October 2018 but, unfortunately, the home she escaped from didn’t want her back so through no fault of her own she is looking for a new home.

Lily is a very timid cat when you first meet her. The person who is currently looking after her said she will come to you when she trusts you. We are looking for a special home that will see past her shyness and allow her the time to learn to trust, whilst realising that this may take time.

Lily will sit next to you and on your lap as she likes to be stroked. However, she may give you a love nip when she gets over excited but means no harm. For this reason we will be looking for a quiet adult only home and one where young children don’t visit regularly. Lily would suit a mature person or couple that are at home for the majority of the day. She also needs to be the only pet and have a home with a garden to explore if she wants to.

To help people find new homes for cats they are unable to keep, we try to help via our DHS. This consists of advertising the cat on our website with as much info that we are aware of with a view to putting the prospective adopter in touch with the current carer. Each prospective adopter still has a home visit even though the cat is not the care of Cats Protection.

All known info regarding any cat on our DHS will be given to the prospective adopter at the time of the home visit. We make no claim to have accurate knowledge of the cat, its health, vaccination status, or whether it is neutered, microchipped etc. All rehomings are subject to a successful home visit. If you live in rented/leasehold property we require written consent to have a cat(s) from the landlord, management company or freeholder (whichever applies) to be obtained before a home visit can be undertaken.
