Scar - Direct Rehome
Scar is 4 years old and is looking for a home under our Direct Rehoming Scheme, due to a change in her owner’s circumstances.

She is a friendly lady who is loving on her own terms and when she wants cuddles and fuss she will come to you.  She doesn't like people disturbing her for fuss if she isn’t in the mood and will tend to swot you to let you know that now isn’t the time!

She is litter trained, spayed, up- to-date with vaccinations and has no known health issues.

She loves to play chasing balls.  Scar eats Whiskas wet food and Go Cat biscuits.

Scar has previously ventured outside but doesn’t in her current home.  We would like her new home to have a garden she could explore when settled.  She’s not used a cat flap but feel she could do so given time.

Scar needs to be the only pet as she doesn’t like other cats.  We don’t think she’d like living with a dog.

Her temperament means she needs to go to an adult only home or one where the children are teenagers .  A boisterous household or one where young children visit regularly wouldn’t be for her.

To help people find new homes for cats they are unable to keep, we try to help via our DHS. This consists of advertising the cat on our website with as much info that we are aware of with a view to putting the prospective adopter in touch with the current carer. Each prospective adopter still has a home visit even though the cat is not the care of Cats Protection.

All known info regarding any cat on our DHS will be given to the prospective adopter at the time of the home visit. We make no claim to have accurate knowledge of the cat, its health, vaccination status, or whether it is neutered, microchipped etc. All rehomings are subject to a successful home visit. If you live in rented/leasehold property we require written consent to have a cat(s) from the landlord, management company or freeholder to be obtained before a home visit can be undertaken.
