Catcuddles Sanctuary (The)
Rehoming Cats & Kittens: Kent (West), London (East) & London (West)
Four year old Dibbo is a much loved cat who has come to us following a change in circumstances in his previous home.

Dibbo is an adorable, chatty cat who enjoys fuss, exploring outdoors, snoozing, and grooming time. Dibbo needs a settled, forever home without any children and with none planned in the future. He will need an experienced, patient adopter who is willing to help him settle in at his pace.

In the right environment Dibbo will thrive. Dibbo needs a calm, structured environment, with no major changes planned. A routine and the space to be independent will give this loving, sensitive boy the routine and comfort he needs.

Dibbo unfortunately experienced a urinary blockage recently, for which he has been receiving treatment for. He will be having a check up in the coming week to assess how he is doing. As a result he is on a specialised diet along with a daily dose of cystease to reduce the chances of this recurring, and this will need to be adhered to in his new home. It is not at all tricky as his food can easily be purchased from online retailers such as Zooplus or Fetch. We encourage Dibbo’s prospective adopters to do their own research into the costs of managing a cat with a health condition but Dibbo’s needs and the implications of having a pre-existing condition that is not covered by his pet insurance can also be discussed further with the adoptions team.

Dibbo is looking for a laid-back, stress free environment; an adult only home where he can be the only pet is the best option for him. Though his adopters will need to keep an eye on him for any recurrence of urinary issues, a quiet home with minimal stress should keep his urinary health stable.

Dibbo is also looking for a home with a quiet garden to explore. A network of back gardens to explore away from busy roads with little chance of leaving the garden network is crucial for him. Dibbo will need to have a microchip catflap fitted at the back of the property within a month of adoption. Even if it is Dibbo’s preference to toilet outside, like any cat who will have access to the outside (after a minimum of six weeks in his new home and only once comfortable with the environment and his humans) he must always have access to a litter tray inside for his urinary health.

Dibbo is being fostered at our South London hub in Abbey Wood, SE2.

Our priority is to match felines with homes that suit their needs, character and long term requirements. Please be aware that when a particular cat receives an unusually high volume of enquiries, our dedicated adoptions volunteers may only be able to pursue the most promising. We appreciate your understanding.
