Rosie (Special Needs Cat)
Four year old Rosie is looking for a special forever home. Rosie’s tail was injured following an accident that led to her becoming incontinent. Rosie has also had a tail amputation and things have improved but the pelvic injury she suffered means she will need additional support.

At the present time, Rosie does not need to be expressed and this has been the case for a few months. She does empty her bladder in her sleep on her special vet bed but when awake she will use her litter tray. She may leave little patches where she sits but we know her human(s) won’t mind accommodating this for this lovely girl.

Rosie is also deaf in her left ear due to an ear infection, and when she was younger she had her ear canal removed. This does not bother her in the slightest and it does not stop her from hearing when it’s treat time!

Despite the setbacks she has faced, Rosie is a lovely, affectionate girl. She is by no means a ‘lap cat’ but she is friendly and a joy to be around. Rosie also enjoys exploring her garden so this is a must in her new home.

Rosie will need an experienced adopter who is able and willing to make accommodations to ensure Rosie continues to enjoy a good quality of life. This can be discussed further with our adoptions team when making an enquiry.

Rosie is looking for a calm, loving home with a quiet garden to call her own. A safe location away from busy roads with no easy access to the road is essential so a terraced home forming part of a network of gardens would be ideal. Rosie will need to have a microchip catflap fitted at the back of the property within a month of adoption as any cat going out will need a way to have easy access back into the home.

No matter what their age, all adopted cats leave Catcuddles with trial insurance and this is important to take out, even for a cat like Rosie who has a pre-existing health condition.

Our priority is to match felines with homes that suit their needs, character and long term requirements. Please be aware that when a particular cat receives an unusually high volume of enquiries, our dedicated adoptions volunteers may only be able to pursue the most promising. We appreciate your understanding.
