Pippa
15 year old Pippa has been through a lot of change and upheaval in her life. Whilst initially shy, Pippa is a sweet, friendly girl. For the final time, she is looking for her forever home, with people to call her own who will love and cherish her as the only pet in a settled, adult-only home.

Pippa has early hyperthyroidism and is currently receiving treatment for this through twice daily medication, which she takes without fuss but her adopter would need to be confident in administering her pills orally. Hyperthyroidism is a common condition that mostly affects senior cats; with the right treatment cats with hyperthyroidism enjoy a good quality of life and a very good outlook. This can be discussed further with our adoptions team when making an enquiry.

Gentle Pippa is looking for a calm, experienced, committed, loving home with a fully catproofed balcony or a garden to potter around in. If Pippa’s new home has a garden for her it should be in a safe location away from busy roads with no easy access to the road and will need to have a microchip catflap fitted at the back of the property within a month of adoption as any cat going out will need a way to have easy access back into the home.

Pippa is being fostered at our South London hub in Abbey Wood, SE2.

No matter what their age, all adopted cats leave Catcuddles with trial insurance and this is important to take out, even for a cat like Pippa who has a pre-existing health condition that will not be covered by this. For our senior cats the trial insurance is with Agria and if a policy is purchased within the trial period then you’ll be able to take out a policy for lifetime cover.

Our priority is to match felines with homes that suit their needs, character and long term requirements. Please be aware that when a particular cat receives an unusually high volume of enquiries, our dedicated adoptions volunteers may only be able to pursue the most promising. We appreciate your understanding.
