Catcuddles Sanctuary (The)
Rehoming Cats & Kittens: London (West), London (East) & Kent (West)
Mowzel is looking for a new home due to worsening family allergies. Mowzel is a reserved boy but as he gets to know you he becomes more at ease and is a friendly and affectionate cat.

Mowzel’s new forever home should be an adult-only home that is spacious with some outside space for him; either a fully catproofed balcony or a safe back garden to explore.

If Mowzel’s new home has a garden there will also need to be a microchip catflap fitted at the back of the property within a month of adoption as any cat going out will need a way to have easy access back into the home. Mowzel has previously lived with another cat but does get bullied by her so he will need a home as the only pet.

Mowzel is extremely overweight and his future adopter has to be absolutely committed to maintaining him on the strict diet he has recently started to help him lose weight safely, and to keep him active. To help with this he will also need a ‘do not feed’ collars Mowzel has recently had a senior health check at our clinic, including blood tests and there are no areas of concern, so by losing weight we hope this will help him remain healthy for years to come.

Like any cat who will have access to the outside Mowzel must always have access to a litter tray inside for their urinary health. Outside access will be after a minimum of six weeks in their new home. Mowzel would also be happy living in a spacious home with access to a fully catproofed balcony.

Mowzel is being fostered in Greenwich, SE10.

Before submitting an adoption enquiry it is important to ensure that you have read our adoption info page: Adopting a cat from Catcuddles.

No matter what their age, all adopted cats leave Catcuddles with trial insurance and this is important to take out. For our senior cats the trial insurance is with Agria and if a policy is purchased within the trial period then you’ll be able to take out a policy for lifetime cover to cover any new conditions that may occur in the future.

Our priority is to match felines with homes that suit their needs, character and long term requirements. Please be aware that when a particular cat receives an unusually high volume of enquiries, our dedicated adoptions volunteers will only be able to pursue the most promising. We appreciate your understanding.
