Rehoming Cats & Kittens: West Midlands
Charlie arrived at Cramar with his friend Snowy - Snowy has just been rehomed, and Charlie is hoping it'll be his turn next.
They were originally brought to us under threat of being put to sleep by their 'owner' due to a change of circumstance. Thank goodness we were able to step in: someone has obviously spent a great deal of time and love on Charlie and Snowy, and it really shows in their lovely gentle and affectionate temperaments. How anyone could have considered having these healthy, loving boys put to sleep is beyond understanding.
After being with us for several weeks, we really thought they'd found their perfect new home, but sadly it was not to be and they were returned to us (after only a brief stay) through absolutely no fault of theirs. This also is really beyond understanding.
Although a little shy initially, Charlie is affectionate, fussy and friendly: he will make a wonderful pet companion, all he only needs time to settle in and regain his confidence, then all he'll want is fuss, affection and a bit of human company. He really is absolutely delightful, he'll be no trouble and, once he's found his feet with his new family, he'll be gentle, sociable and friendly. After being so nearly betrayed by his former owner, and then let down with his 'second chance of happiness' he really deserves the best, and we are determined to find it for him. If you can offer him the commitment and loyalty he deserves, he'll return this many times over: he's coped well with his unexpected return to rescue, and still has a huge capacity to love and trust humans: we're determined that he won't be let down again.
He'll be fine to live with children over the age of 10 years, and with other felines.
