Rehoming Cats & Kittens: West Midlands

Donovan is a fabulous, friendly cat, with a huge amount of personality.  He needs a special home, so please read his profile to find out if he could be your perfect new cat.
Donovan has CH (cerebellar hypoplasia): he's a wobbly cat - and he is noticably wobbly - but this hasn't stopped him living his life to the full!  In his previous home, he enjoyed having access to a safe garden, and he will definitely need to have a safe outside space in his new home.  Despite his wobbliness, he has been known to climb a fence, so his new garden should have a sufficiently high fence to keep him safe - his CH means he would be vulnerable if he travelled too far away from home, although he doesn't realise that it should also prevent him breaking out of his garden!
He will need to live as an only cat - he can be a bit of a bully towards other felines - but he has happily lived with a dog, and could also live with older children.  His CH means that it's likely he will have the occasional accident with his litter tray (he falls over, and will sometimes fall out of his toilet): he knows how to use a litter tray, but his physical condition sometimes causes a few issues.  In his previous home he also had a few none-CH related toileting mishaps, but we think this was due to stress, as he hasn't had any such problems since being in rescue.
He is a very affectionate cat, very confident, and he likes a fuss (he has a fabulous purr), but he isn't really a lap cat.
Basically, Donovan is full of contradicitons: he has physical limitations, but he is very active, he's friendly and will demand attention, but he probably won't sit on your lap.
He's an amazing boy, looking for a very special home.
