Rehoming Cats & Kittens: Dumfries & Galloway
Phoebe was found in a hay barn on a remote farm with her 4 kittens.
We feel she has been a victim of the lock down crisis and was more than probably abandoned by her owners at this location. It may be due to her being pregnant and them not being able to cope with the thought of kittens. Only the cat will ever know the true story and wouldn't it be great if they could talk.
Phoebe has done a great job of rearing her kittens in the bales of hay. Two of her kittens are still waiting for a home as is Phoebe. She has now been neutered and is ready to find her own home where she will be cared for and loved.

We feel she would not be suited to a family with young children, but a home that offers her lots of gentle attention and space to explore outdoors. Her age has been estimated at about 1, 1/2 years old. We don't know her background and how she's lived previously, but she has clearly been someone's pet as she is so friendly. We think she was relived to be caught and brought into a pen where plenty of food was on offer and a bit of rest. She would certainly be happy in a village or rural location.
