Snickers
Snickers came into our care in poor condition.
She was far too small and underweight with quite a flea allergy to go with it.
Snickers is the most playful, affectionate little cat and will make a great family pet. She is happy to greet anyone visiting her pen and loves a good deal of playtime. She's not fussy who it is, she'll welcome anyone.
She is not quite ready to home yet, but we hope in the next few weeks she'll be ready to go to join her new and forever family.
Because she's been fighting a flea infestation for a prolonged period of time, she now has feline allergic dermatitis. It is vital, therefore, that whoever adopts this beautiful cat, will commit to**regular** vet approved parasite treatment for her. We would hope this is the minimum level of care that any cat owner gives to their cats, but sadly, we are not seeing this.
Snickers can get very itchy skin if she gets bitten and this sets off her over grooming and making herself bald.
The treatment she has had with us has helped and we still have a few weeks to go before we are happy to let her go to a new home. This is sad for Snickers as she's sooo ready to explore a new home and a new family.
Snickers will need a home where she has access to a safe and secure garden adjoining her home. She will also need some time offered to her for play and interaction. Whilst she loves to play hard, she is a very gentle cat and is careful not to engage with hands or fingers! There's not a bad thought in her head.
She loves her outings to the vets!! Final photo shows her making herself at home in the treatment room.
Once we have her allergy put to bed, she will be a really easy cat to own.
If you are interested please register an interest and we will be in touch once Snickers is fit to home.
