Dotty & Elsa - Updated

Dotty and Elsa are being rehomed from their fosterer; this is what she has to say about the girls.

Quiet and peaceful home sought for Dotty and Elsa, two neutered female cats around 5 years old.

After spending the first year or so of their lives together fending for themselves, they really love being house cats now and are enjoying spending most of their time indoors away from
the cold and wet.

Dotty is a lovely long-haired tabby who looks for attention and shows a lot of affection. Dotty rubs around legs, rolls on the floor, enjoys stroking and brushing and likes to be dried if she comes in wet, she is quite talkative if she's after fuss or a treat. Dotty is progressing well and it is now possible to pick her up for a little while and she will also sit on your knee.

Elsa has had her tail removed after an accident. Elsa is very nervous and will panic and dart away at anything different, she's also very fast. She likes our elderly cat but is frightened and will run from other cats. Elsa looks for a quiet room in the house and generally will not stay in a room long if people enter it to sit down. Elsa looks to Dotty for comfort and friendship and also enjoys being stroked and brushed but will walk away often whilst it is happening hoping you will continue and follow her. She loves sunbathing. I am confident that she will continue to improve albeit slowly. Both girls enjoy a little rodent control.

The ideal home for the girls would be a single person or quiet couple without other animals, preferably on the edge of the countryside or a quiet village as they are unused to traffic and people coming and going. Patience and experience of looking after cats will be needed to enable these two lovely cats to continue to blossom.
